Resumo: This essay is the result of the conclusion of the thesis developed for the doctorate at the Graduate Program in Geography of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP – Presidente Prudente). Titled as FROM THE EARTH OF WHAT? TERRITORIALITIES AND PROCESSES OF UNEVEN GEOGRAPHIC DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN RIVERS OF MEDIA SOROCABANA: APPROPRIATION, CONFLICTS, WORK AND PRODUCTION. The aforementioned thesis aimed to explain these dynamics occurring in this spatial fraction through its territorial arrangements and the processes resulting from the contradictions of capital. Territorialities are the expression on the land surface of the class struggle, and therefore, it is important to understand the processes of mobility of capital and the scales of relations involved. Therefore, the spatial organization and the territorial disputes present are the marks left on the surface and that promotes the geographical face intentionally provoked by capital. Thus, differentiating the localities by forging relations of dependence, subjection, and spoliation of everything present in that spatial cut, which can be its resources, the labor force, and land appropriation. Therefore, we will analyze the main episodes of occupation and geographic formation through the light of Unequal Geographic Development to understand the relations and scales that the capital has promoted (and promotes) in the formation of the Territorial Division of Labor.

Titulado como ¿DE LA TIERRA DE QUÉ? TERRITORIALIDADES Y PROCESOS DE DESARROLLO GEOGRÁFICO DESIGUAL ENTRE RÍOS DE MEDIA SOROCABANA: APROPIACIÓN, CONFLICTOS, TRABAJO Y PRODUCCIÓN. La mencionada tesis tuvo como objetivo explicar estas dinámicas que se dieron en esta fracción espacial a través de sus arreglos territoriales y los procesos resultantes de las contradicciones del capital. Las territorialidades son la expresión en la superficie terrestre de la lucha de clases y, por tanto, es importante comprender los procesos de movilidad del capital y las escalas de relaciones involucradas. Por lo tanto, la organización espacial y las disputas territoriales presentes son las marcas que dejan en la superficie y que promueven el tema geográfico intencionalmente provocado por el capital. Así, diferenciando las localidades forjando relaciones de dependencia, sujeción y despojo de todo lo presente en ese espacio, que pueden ser sus recursos, la mano de obra y la apropiación de la tierra. Por ello, analizaremos los principales episodios de ocupación y formación geográfica a la luz del Desarrollo Geográfico Desigual para comprender las relaciones y escalas que el capital impulsó (y promueve) en la formación de la División Territorial del Trabajo.Este ensaio é resultante da conclusão da tese desenvolvida para o doutoramento junto ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Geografia da Faculdade de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP – Presidente Prudente). Intitulada como DA TERRA DO QUE? TERRITORIALIDADES E PROCESSOS DO DESENVOLVIMENTO GEOGRÁFICO DESIGUAL NO ENTRE RIOS DA MÉDIA SOROCABANA: APROPRIAÇÕES, CONFLITOS, TRABALHO E PRODUÇÃO. A tese referida objetivou explicar essas dinâmicas ocorridas nesta fração espacial através de seus arranjos territoriais e os processos resultantes das contradições do capital. As territorialidades são a expressão na superfície terrestre da luta de classes, e por isso, é importante compreender os processos de mobilidade do capital e as escalas de relações envolvidas. A organização espacial e as disputas territoriais presentes são as marcas deixadas na superfície e que promove a face geográfica provocada intencionalmente pelo capital. Diferenciando assim as localidades ao forjar relações de dependência, sujeição e espoliação de tudo presente naquele recorte espacial, podendo ser seus recursos, a força de trabalho e a apropriação da terra.
