Geotechnology applied to the analysis of the spatiotemporal urban density

Resumo: With the adoption of Capitalism as a world economic system, favors the concentration of people and capital cities. This fact led to changes in the morphology of this area. The economic inequalities arising from this policy are noticeable in the city and the relationships established in the urban area. Therefore, this study analyzed the forms of segregation, especially the self segregation in the neighborhood Ibituruna, the average city of Montes Claros (MG). Data and construction occupation of the area in question were obtained by means of satellite images of high spatial resolution. Since these products were obtained from orbital data construction. From a comparison of the data it is considered that self-segregation in the city above is concentrated in the western region, especially in the neighborhood Ibituruna, plus there is a density in this neighborhood, according to real estate interests in this space.

Tal fato provocou alterações na morfologia deste espaço. As desigualdades oriundas desta política econômica são perceptíveis na cidade e nas relações estabelecidas na área urbana. Diante disso, o presente trabalho analisou as formas de segregação, sobretudo a auto segregação, no bairro Ibituruna, na cidade média de Montes Claros (MG). Os dados de ocupação e edifi cação da área em questão foram obtidos por meio das imagens de satélite de alta resolução espacial. Apartir desses produtos orbitais foram obtidos os dados de edifi cação.
