Resumo: A global increase in customized products manufacturing has been noticed over the years and it has generated a high level of disposed material, which may cause damages to the environment. In this context, the present study aimed to identify the post-consumption reverse logistics practices in a recycling cooperative located at Esteio, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. To do so, a qualitative research with an exploratory approach and operationalized through a case study was carried out. Data about the cooperative activities and the way it performs its processes were collected through interviews and observations. The results show that the studied recycling cooperatives perform several reverse logistics practices, which are essential for the reverse flow of materials.

En este contexto, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar las prácticas de logística inversa de post-consumo realizado por una cooperativa de reciclaje en la ciudad de Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Por lo tanto, un estudio cualitativo se llevó a cabo, aproximación exploratoria, la práctica mediante un estudio de caso. A partir de entrevistas y observaciones buscando información sobre las actividades de cooperación y de la forma en que se lleva a cabo sus procesos. Los resultados indican que el estudio cooperativo, reciclaje lleva a cabo diversas prácticas de RL, que son esenciales para el flujo de material inversa.Percebe-se ao longo dos anos um aumento global na fabricação de produtos customizados, o que tem gerado também um elevado descarte de materiais, ocasionando danos ao meio ambiente. Nesse contexto, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar as práticas de logística reversa de pós-consumo realizadas por uma cooperativa de reciclagem localizada na cidade de Esteio, no Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, de abordagem exploratória, operacionalizada mediante um estudo de caso. A partir de entrevistas e observações buscaram-se informações sobre as atividades da cooperativa e o modo como a mesma realiza seus processos.
