Resumo: This survey is bound to the Geography Postgraduated Program, with area of concentration in Space and Environment Production, at the Research Line III: Education and Teaching of Geography from Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná – UNIOESTE. It was developed at Colégio Estadual Arnaldo Busato – Verê/PR, through an association with the Research Group Representations, Spaces, Periods and Languages in Educational Experiences – RETLEE – from UNIOESTE – Francisco Beltrão’s campus and with the Institute of Geography and Territorial Planning from Lisboa University ─ IGOT/UL. The survey was accomplished with three 7th grade classes in the Elementary School, containing 77 students, who were challenged to identify meaningful problems/challenges of the school before the pandemic (2019-2020) and during the COVID-19 (2020-2021) pandemic they showed up action proposals with priorities. The main goal was to analyse the sense and meaning of Geography in citizenship formation of students’ participant. The place category was evidenced because of the need noticed by the geography teacher, to teach and during the Supervised Internship I, from Degree Course in Geography, in 2016. The students had difficulties to understand the content, in general and in its contradictions. We used as research methodology the case study, based on Yin (2015); in the learning perspective, in consonance to the citizen formation process conception. The actions’ development happened through the Activity Theory of Leontiev (1978), as well as in the Vygotskian conception, in the subjects’ speaks interpretation, focusing in the sense and meaning of the process. To develop the actions, the students were organized in 17 groups. They created from a logo, a name to the group, to an investigated and presented the proposals, of problems identified. Between March/2019 and February/2020, started the analyses by Colégio reality, were identified the following problems: a) in physical structure; b) in the cleaning; c) in food; d) in sports; e) in the uniform; f) in the canteen prices; g) in security; h) on well-being and i) in the teaching process. The students presented to the school direction, to pedagogical team, to the “We Propose! UNIOESTE” team, during the Socialization Forum. During march/2020 and february/2021, we were affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Therefore, we adapted the research to remote meetings. By Google Meet, weekly meetings, discussing the problems and creating possible actions to their resolution. In this period, the students presented as investigation result: a) lack of mobile phones for the students; b) lack of hygienic products to the most vulnerable families; c) lack of publicity of the Project We Propose! Verê actions; d) lack of clothes for some families; e) difficulty to understand the online classes. There were created actions suggestive to resolution those problems and presented to the Verê City Hall representatives, City Council, Education Department, Agriculture and Environment Department and City Planning Department, to the We Propose! UNIOESTE team, Mr. Sérgio Claudino Loureiro Nunes, school direction and pedagogical team from Colégio Estadual Arnaldo Busato – Verê/PR. The survey had as main contribution, bigger sense and meaning to the teaching and learning process, by the students. Besides, stimulated the critical reading of the place and the actions, promoted alternative methodological referrals to comprehend place and territorial citizenship.

Seu desenvolvimento ocorreu no Colégio Estadual Arnaldo Busato, no município de Verê-PR, numa parceria com o Grupo de Pesquisa Representações, Espaços, Tempos e Linguagens em Experiências Educativas – RETLEE – da UNIOESTE – campus de Francisco Beltrão e com o Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território da Universidade de Lisboa ─ IGOT/UL. A pesquisa foi realizada com três turmas de 7ºs anos do Ensino Fundamental, totalizando 77 estudantes, que foram desafiados a identificarem problemas significativos no Colégio, antes da pandemia (2019-2020) e durante a pandemia do COVID-19 (2020-2021), apresentaram propostas de ação com as prioridades. O objetivo principal foi analisar o sentido e o significado da Geografia na formação cidadã do estudante participante. A categoria lugar se evidenciou pela necessidade percebida como professora de Geografia, para ensinar, e durante a realização do Estágio Supervisionado I, do Curso de Licenciatura em Geografia, no ano de 2016. Os estudantes apresentaram dificuldades em entender o conteúdo, na sua totalidade e nas contradições que apresenta. Trabalhamos o estudo de caso como metodologia de pesquisa com base em Yin (2015); na perspectiva da aprendizagem, em consonância com a concepção do processo de formação do sujeito cidadão. O desenvolvimento das ações ocorreu pelo alicerce da Teoria da Atividade de Leontiev (1978), bem como pela concepção vigotskiana, na interpretação da fala dos sujeitos, com enfoque no sentido e no significado do processo. Para o desenvolvimento das ações, os estudantes foram organizados em 17 grupos. Eles criaram desde o logotipo, o nome para o grupo, até a investigação e a apresentação das propostas, dos problemas identificados. Entre março/2019 e fevereiro/2020, iniciou-se a análise pela realidade do Colégio, onde foram identificados os seguintes problemas: a) de estrutura física; b) na limpeza; c) na alimentação; d) nos esportes; e) no uniforme; f) nos preços da cantina; g) na segurança; h) no bem estar e, i) no processo educativo. Tais aspectos foram apresentados pelos estudantes à direção, à equipe pedagógica, à equipe do “Nós Propomos! UNIOESTE”, durante o Fórum de Socialização. No período de março/2020 a fevereiro/2021, fomos afetados pela Pandemia do COVID-19. Por isso, adaptamos a pesquisa aos encontros remotos. Por meio do Google Meet, os encontros foram semanais, discutindo os problemas e criando possíveis ações para a resolução dos mesmos. Neste período, os estudantes apresentaram como resultado da investigação: a) falta de aparelhos celulares para os estudantes; b) Carência de produtos de higiene para famílias mais vulneráveis; c) Insuficiência de divulgação das ações do Projeto Nós Propomos! Verê; d) Necessidade de roupas para algumas famílias; e e) Dificuldade em compreender as aulas online. Foram criadas ações sugestivas para resolução desses problemas, apresentadas aos representantes da Prefeitura Municipal de Verê, à Câmara Municipal de Vereadores, ao Departamento da Educação, ao Departamento da Agricultura e Meio Ambiente e ao Departamento do Urbanismo, à equipe Nós Propomos! UNIOESTE, ao Profº Sérgio Claudino Loureiro Nunes, e à Direção e equipe pedagógica do Colégio Estadual Arnaldo Busato – Verê/PR. A pesquisa trouxe como principal contribuição, maior sentido e significado ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem, por parte dos estudantes. It was developed at Colégio Estadual Arnaldo Busato – Verê/PR, through an association with the Research Group Representations, Spaces, Periods and Languages in Educational Experiences – RETLEE – from UNIOESTE – Francisco Beltrão’s campus and with the Institute of Geography and Territorial Planning from Lisboa University ─ IGOT/UL. The survey was accomplished with three 7th grade classes in the Elementary School, containing 77 students, who were challenged to identify meaningful problems/challenges of the school before the pandemic (2019-2020) and during the COVID-19 (2020-2021) pandemic they showed up action proposals with priorities. The main goal was to analyse the sense and meaning of Geography in citizenship formation of students’ participant. The place category was evidenced because of the need noticed by the geography teacher, to teach and during the Supervised Internship I, from Degree Course in Geography, in 2016. The students had difficulties to understand the content, in general and in its contradictions. We used as research methodology the case study, based on Yin (2015); in the learning perspective, in consonance to the citizen formation process conception. The actions’ development happened through the Activity Theory of Leontiev (1978), as well as in the Vygotskian conception, in the subjects’ speaks interpretation, focusing in the sense and meaning of the process. To develop the actions, the students were organized in 17 groups. They created from a logo, a name to the group, to an investigated and presented the proposals, of problems identified. Between March/2019 and February/2020, started the analyses by Colégio reality, were identified the following problems: a) in physical structure; b) in the cleaning; c) in food; d) in sports; e) in the uniform; f) in the canteen prices; g) in security; h) on well-being and i) in the teaching process. The students presented to the school direction, to pedagogical team, to the “We Propose! UNIOESTE” team, during the Socialization Forum. During march/2020 and february/2021, we were affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Therefore, we adapted the research to remote meetings. By Google Meet, weekly meetings, discussing the problems and creating possible actions to their resolution. In this period, the students presented as investigation result: a) lack of mobile phones for the students; b) lack of hygienic products to the most vulnerable families; c) lack of publicity of the Project We Propose! Verê actions; d) lack of clothes for some families; e) difficulty to understand the online classes. There were created actions suggestive to resolution those problems and presented to the Verê City Hall representatives, City Council, Education Department, Agriculture and Environment Department and City Planning Department, to the We Propose! UNIOESTE team, Mr. Sérgio Claudino Loureiro Nunes, school direction and pedagogical team from Colégio Estadual Arnaldo Busato – Verê/PR. The survey had as main contribution, bigger sense and meaning to the teaching and learning process, by the students. Besides, stimulated the critical reading of the place and the actions, promoted alternative methodological referrals to comprehend place and territorial citizenship.
