Resumo: This doctoral thesis aims to use and evaluate synthetic images in agricultural monitoring. Thus, in Article 1 the objective was to apply the ESTARFM algorithm in multispectral images in an area covering the municipality of Cascavel, Paraná. The MODIS and Landsat 8 images were fused to produce 20 synthetic Landsat 8 images from October 2014 to September 2015, and the accuracy of the results was determined by comparing the reflectance valuesbetween the values of the synthetic and real images of the Landsat 8. The observed results showed that the red band presented better results when compared to infrared, and that the NDVI generated with these images reproduced well the dynamics of the soy and corn crops. Secondly, for Article 2 the objective of the study was to apply the SEBAL model and the ESTARFM methodology to estimate daily ET in an agricultural property of the Municipality of Cascavel, Paraná. The results obtained indicated good symmetry between the estimated ETs with Landsat 8 images and the synthetic ones, being the best results found for the culture of soybeans and the worst in times when the agricultural area was covered with corn stubble. Assim, no Artigo 1 o objetivo foi aplicar o algoritmo ESTARFM em imagens multiespectrais em uma área cobrindo o município de Cascavel, Paraná. As imagens do MODIS e Landsat 8 foram fusionadas para produzir 20 imagens Landsat 8 sintéticas, entre outubro de 2014 a setembro de 2015, sendo que a avaliação de acurácia dos resultados foi feita pela comparação dos valores de refletância entre valores das imagens sintéticas e reais do Landsat 8. Os resultados observados mostraram que a banda vermelha apresentou melhores resultados quando comparados a infravermellha, e que o NDVI gerado com estas imagens reproduziu bem a dinâmica das culturas de soja e milho. Em um segundo momento, para o Artigo 2 o objetivo do trabalho foi aplicar o modelo SEBAL e a metodologia do ESTARFM para estimar ET diária em uma propriedade agrícola do Município de Cascavel, Paraná. Imagens MODIS e Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS foram fusionadas para produzir imagens sintéticas entre outubro de 2014 e outubro de 2015. Os resultados obtidos indicaram boa concordância entre as ET estimadas com imagens Landsat 8 e as sintéticas, sendo os melhores resultados encontrados para a cultura da soja, e os piores em épocas em que a área agrícola continha resteva do milho.
