Rede Mãe Paranaense na perspectiva da usuária: o cuidado no seguimento da criança na atenção primaria à saúde

The child health has received several approaches throughout the history and the health programs for children have been following these transformations. Among the health programs focused on maternal and child health, in recent years, the Cegonha Network stands out, created as a strategy to strengthen to the Health Care Networks (RAS). In the State of Paraná, the program has been named “Paranaense Mother Network” (PRMP) and it has, among its objectives, to reduce the maternal and the child mortality rates. Therefore, in this study, we sought to analyze the perception of the mother using of the PRMP - in relation to the follow-up of children under one year old - resident in the city of Cascavel-PR. This is a transversal study, a multicentric research cutout, with a quantitative approach. The studied population were some women attended at a public hospital in the city of Cascavel-PR, between July / 2017 and January / 2018. From this population, 222 women were residents in Cascavel, of which the screened study evaluated 139 mothers with children up to six months of age, through a home visit. This work resulted in the sample from step 2. The data analysis was performed using the chi-square test for K, proportions with α = 5% of statistical significance. The analyzes were performed in the licensed program XLSTat, 2017 version, and by the comparing between the obtained relative frequencies and the expected frequencies by the PRMP, calculating the proportion in which the goals were reached and establishing an evaluation index for each one. with the present study, it was observed that the majority of the 139 children are female (53.2%), and their mothers there are the Family Health Unit (USF) like references; 64.7% of these children there are five to six appointments. The dental appointment, before 6 months, were performed in 31.7% of the cases studied, and 69.8% of these cases considered the access to consultations easy; 46% didn’t receive home visits, 97.8% didn’t participate in groups and 34.5% had maintained the exclusive breastfeeding until the sixth month. It is important to mention that the guidelines received were a factor that contributed to the maintenance of the breastfeeding in 60% of the cases (p <0.0001). The variables under analysis were categorized in domains defined in the program, generating an evaluation index for each one, being: maternal satisfaction about the follow-up of the baby, 68%; follow-up in childcare, 67%; quality and resolubility in the care, 55%; risk stratification, 6%. The present study can identify that the PRMP has complied with the guidelines proposed by the program's matrix, but it still presents some weaknesses evidenced by the unsatisfactory evaluation index in all the objectives that are proposes by it. Thus, the data found may be subsidies to encourage discussions that seeking improvements in the achieving goals proposed for the PRMP in the municipality of Cascavel, because it shows for the managers the potentialities and the weaknesses of this program, serving as a management strategy for improvement in child health indicators.
