In Economics of Organization is usual the using Transaction Cost Economics and Measurement Costs to explain variability of governance modes. Although this scenario lacks of a theoretical perception based on a solid concept. So, the paper has as its main objective to show empirically the concept of Organizational Tolerance applied in the agri-based system of poultry from Mato Grosso do Sul. The research is descriptive with a qualitative approach which has 33 observations from a semi-structured survey. Results present that the agri-based system analyzed has a low level of organizational tolerance, in other words, it is dependent of a few governance forms. In this case, the agents are totally surrounded by contracts of integration in reason that the whole chain is coordinated by these mechanisms. Contributions of this research is showed by its empirical application of theoretical approaches that look diversity of governance modes.
