Resumo: | Although one hundred years have passed since the end of the Contested War, historical factors that have influenced the outbreak of the war continue to create serious obstacles to the territorial development of the Contested. The objective of this article is to present an alternative strategy of territorial development, based on the tourist activity and susceptible of application in the Contested territory. The adopted methodology focuses on the concept of territorial development and considers a successful case of territory that made tourism feasible. From this perspective, we examine the case of the Castille-La Mancha territory, which identified, in the universal work of Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote, potential for the implementation of territorial development strategies centered on tourism. Drawing on the experiences of the territory of Castile-La Mancha, it concludes on the admissibility of applying, in the territory under focus, similar development strategies, based on historical tourism and tangible and intangible assets of the Contested. |

EdUnioeste2016-12-02info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://e-revista.unioeste.br/index.php/gepec/article/view/1552810.48075/igepec.v20i2.15528Informe GEPEC; v. 20 n. 2 (2016); p. 28-371679-415X1676-067010.48075/igepec.v20i2reponame:Informe Gepec (Online)instname:Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE)instacron:UNIOESTEporhttps://e-revista.unioeste.br/index.php/gepec/article/view/15528/10979Tomporoski, Alexandre Assisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-05-16T22:12:37Zoai:ojs.e-revista.unioeste.br:article/15528Revistahttps://e-revista.unioeste.br/index.php/gepecPUBhttps://e-revista.unioeste.br/index.php/gepec/oairevista.gepec@gmail.com1679-415X1676-0670opendoar:2023-05-16T22:12:37Informe Gepec (Online) - Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE)false |
