Resumo: This study aims to examine the technological efficiency of different Brazilian States, associated with the distribution of resources from PRONAF. The methodology is based on the factorial analysis, which enabled the definition of the Technology Index (TI), used to analyze the technological efficiency of the different Brazilian States. The results show that there is greater distribution of the resources of the PRONAF for farmers in units of the federation which have greater technological efficiency, which signals the need for redistribution of resources program for producers of the vast majority of States, which has low efficiency technology.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a eficiência tecnológica dos diferentes estados brasileiros, associada à distribuição de recursos do PRONAF-Crédito. A metodologia baseia-se na análise fatorial, que possibilitou a definição do Índice de Tecnologia (IT), utilizado para analisar a eficiência tecnológica dos diferentes estados brasileiros.
