Resumo: Water scarcity has become one of the biggest problems in the country. The objective was to evaluate the federal granting of water resources in Goiás. In the methodology used, a period of analysis was defined between 2002 and 2020, where the variables were evaluated: number of federal granting processes of water resources by purpose/type of use, accumulated volume of water resources from federal grants to Goiás by hydrographic region, municipality, time and irrigation method, as well as average grant time by type of interference. The results showed that there was an intensification of requests for granting of water resources in the last decade, being predominant in the hydrographic region of the Paraná river, highlighting the municipality of Cristalina, especially for use in irrigation. Finally, the average duration of grants for dams is the longest and exceeds 20 years.

En este sentido, el objetivo fue evaluar el otorgamiento federal de recursos hídricos en Goiás. En la metodología utilizada se definió un período de análisis entre 2002 y 2020, donde se evaluaron las variables: número de procesos de otorgamiento federal de recursos hídricos por finalidad / tipo de uso, volumen acumulado de recursos hídricos de concesiones federales a Goiás por región hidrográfica, municipio, tiempo y método de riego, así como tiempo promedio de concesión por tipo de interferencia. Los resultados mostraron que hubo una intensificación de las solicitudes de otorgamiento de recursos hídricos en la última década, siendo predominante en la región hidrográfica del río Paraná, destacando el municipio de Cristalina, especialmente para uso en riego. Por último, la duración media de las subvenciones para presas es la más larga y supera los 20 años.A escassez hídrica tem se configurado em um dos maiores problemas do país. Nesse contexto, objetivou-se avaliar a outorga federal de recursos hídricos em Goiás. Na metodologia empregada definiu-se período de análise entre 2002 e 2020, onde foram avaliadas as variáveis:  quantidade de processos de outorgas federais de recursos hídricos por finalidade/tipo de uso, volume acumulado de recursos hídricos de outorgas federais para Goiás por região hidrográfica, município, tempo e método de irrigação, bem como, tempo médio de outorga por tipo de interferência. Os resultados demonstraram que houve intensificação de solicitação de outorga de recursos hídricos na última década, sendo predominante na região hidrográfica do rio Paraná, destacando-se o município de Cristalina, especialmente para uso em irrigação.
