Scientific production on quality and safety in obstetric care:: bibliometric study

Resumo: Objective: to analyze the frequency of words correlating with the title and abstract of the scientific production on quality and safety in obstetric care in the light of Zipf's Law (word frequency). Methodology: descriptive study of bibliometric analysis. LILACS, MEDLINE, Bdenf and SCOPUS (Elsivier) databases were used. Articles available in full, free of charge, in English, Portuguese and Spanish, without restriction of time space and search terms present in the title or abstract were included. Results: 14 documents were identified, the tag clouds clearly showed the correlation between all text segments from the frequency of the words 'safety', 'obstetric' and 'care'. In the descriptive analysis of the content, the terms are associated with quality and safety in obstetric care. Conclusion: Anchoring the study in Zipf's theory provided an innovative approach to the field of women's health, ratifying the analysis of written language structures from texts.

Metodología: estudio descriptivo de análisis bibliométrico. Se utilizaron las bases de datos LILACS, MEDLINE, Bdenf y SCOPUS (Elsivier). Se incluyeron artículos disponibles en su totalidad, de forma gratuita, en inglés, portugués y español, sin restricción de tiempo, espacio y términos de búsqueda presentes en el título o resumen. Resultados: se identificaron 14 documentos, las nubes de etiquetas mostraron claramente la correlación entre todos los segmentos de texto a partir de la frecuencia de las palabras 'seguridad', 'obstétrica' y 'cuidado'. En el análisis descriptivo del contenido, los términos se asocian con calidad y seguridad en la atención obstétrica. Conclusión: Anclar el estudio en la teoría de Zipf proporcionó un enfoque innovador en el campo de la salud de la mujer, ratificando el análisis de las estructuras del lenguaje escrito a partir de textos.Objetivo: analisar a frequência de palavras correlacionando com o título e resumo da produção científica sobre a qualidade e segurança na assistência obstétrica à luz da Lei de Zipf (frequência de palavras).  Método: trata-se de um estudo bibliométrico, que possibilita compreender os padrões de produtividade científica ao longo dos anos. realizaram-se buscas nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, Bdenf e SCOPUS (Elsivier) mediante utilização dos seguintes descritores oriundos do DeCS: obstetrícia/ obstetrics, segurança do paciente/ patient safety, qualidade dos serviços/ quality of health care; associou-se a esses termos o operador booleano AND. Resultados: após realizado o levantamento bibliométrico foram identificados 14 artigos relacionados que contemplaram à temática em estudo. Estes artigos estão publicados em 13 periódicos distintos.
