Workshops for text: a new look on the production and textual reading

Resumo: | This paper aims to describe an experience that occurred in the IFPA - Federal Institute for Education, Science and Technology of Pará - Campus Tucuruí, with students selected from classes from 1st to 4th year of Environmental Sanitation, Computer and electrotechnology, all belonging to Education Integrated Technical high school. This experience occurred during the period August 2009 to June 2011 and is intended here to describe the process of textual production of the students involved in the workshops offered at the Institute and also evaluate the strategies of reading and text production - always with the support of teachers of geography, history, sociology, philosophy, psychologists, social workers, among other professionals. Finally, based on the results, we establish here a proposal for a dynamic and interactive workshop, which alerts the students to read good and different books, which contributes to better develop the argument. This was a project that also made use of legislation in our country, because what we want from it is to educate critical citizens, conscious of the important role they have in society and therefore know their rights and duties. The method of working combines critical reading of informational texts (drawn from newspapers, magazines, Internet and books) and a literary reader to form authentic, being very well exploited exercises oral and written production. The theoretical basis for the workshops is anchored in Angela KLEIMAN, Mariza LAJOLO and Delia LERNER. The results confirm the success of the proposals presented here used books and written for them. |

The results confirm the success of the proposals presented here used books and written for them.O presente artigo objetiva relatar uma experiência que ocorreu no IFPA – Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará – Campus Tucuruí, com alunos selecionados entre as turmas do 1º ao 4° ano de Saneamento Ambiental, Informática e Eletrotécnica, todas pertencentes ao Ensino Técnico Integrado ao Ensino Médio. Esta experiência ocorreu no período de agosto de 2009 a junho de 2011 e pretende-se aqui descrever o processo de produção textual dos alunos envolvidos nas oficinas de texto ofertadas no Instituto e também avaliar as estratégias de leitura e de produção textual – sempre com o apoio de educadores de geografia, história, sociologia, filosofia, psicólogos, assistentes sociais, dentre outros profissionais. Por fim, baseado nos resultados, estabelece-se aqui uma proposta de oficina dinâmica e interativa, que desperta o educando para a leitura de bons e diferentes livros, o que contribui para melhor desenvolver a argumentação. Este foi um projeto que também fez uso da legislação vigente em nosso país, pois o que se pretende a partir dele é formar cidadãos críticos, conscientes do importante papel que desempenham na sociedade e, portanto, conhecedores de seus direitos e deveres. O método de trabalho combina leitura crítica de textos informativos (retirados de jornais, revistas, Internet e livros) e literários para formar um leitor autêntico, sendo bastante explorado também exercícios de produção oral e escrita. A fundamentação teórica para as oficinas ancora-se em Ângela KLEIMAN, Mariza LAJOLO e Delia LERNER.
