Resumo: | Contrary many analyzes of economists and thinkers "globalized", family farming has persisted and diversifying. This study seeks to explain the relationship of family farming with the market, its strength and social reproduction in rural areas. Regions like the Southwest Paraná, Santa Catarina West and the Northwest of Rio Grande do Sul, are characterized by the predominance of family farms. In these regions, milk production is predominant, but develops unevenly, with regard to production and marketing strategies systems. In this article we carried out a literature review on the subject as well as a case study in two family farms that have milk as one of its main strategies of social reproduction and sell their products directly to the consumer market, the local market and ensuring better returns with activity. |

Edunisc - Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul2015-08-26info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://online.unisc.br/seer/index.php/redes/article/view/352910.17058/redes.v20i2.3529Redes ; Vol. 20 No. 2 (2015): Desenvolvimento Rural; 236-260Redes; Vol. 20 Núm. 2 (2015): Desenvolvimento Rural; 236-260Redes; Vol. 20 No. 2 (2015): Desenvolvimento Rural; 236-260Redes; v. 20 n. 2 (2015): Desenvolvimento Rural; 236-2601982-6745reponame:Redes (Santa Cruz do Sul.
