Resumo: | The mobility of capitals is a characteristic of the global markets. This mobility refers both to speculative capitals and productive investments. Which search to allocate their industrial bases in areas where there are, comparative advantages that allow better competitiveness in the market. The present study searches for evidence of a possible migration of the Poultry Agroindustrial Projects from the South Region of Brazil to the Center-West, and tries to demonstrate that the expansion of the agricultural boundary, in the Center-West Region, is the migratory shock that begins this solemnity-reinforced cycle. Using the New Economical Geography as theoretical approach, it takes the Center-Periphery Model to get the evidence of this possible migration. The results show with strong evidence that the expansion of the agricultural boundary to the Center-West Region was the beginning of a migration process. However, the study doesn't allow the conclusion regarding the point of rupture that would provoke the total migration. |

Edunisc - Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul2009-09-08info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://online.unisc.br/seer/index.php/redes/article/view/93010.17058/redes.v14i1.930Redes ; Vol. 14 No. 1 (2009); 5-25Redes; Vol. 14 Núm. 1 (2009); 5-25Redes; Vol. 14 No. 1 (2009); 5-25Redes; v. 14 n. 1 (2009); 5-251982-6745reponame:Redes (Santa Cruz do Sul.
