BABY SOCIAL ACTION, VISUAL NARRATIVES AND CONSTITUTION OF TEACHING

Resumo: The article proposes a dialogue between the babies’ agency and the capture through the photographic gaze as a narrative inquiry to the constitution of teaching in early childhood education. Part of two central - and interconnect - thematic categories of discussion: i) the baby as a social actor, a concept approached from visual narratives that reveal moments of playing with dolls in care situations; and ii) the constitution of teaching based on the process of observation and analysis of the lived experience. The records analyzed result from the reflection of the pedagogical practice in an early childhood education institution in Curitiba. The babies are understood as subjects of language, socially active in the constitution of meanings about the other, about themselves and the world mediated by relationships, and teaching, circumvented by this meeting, as observation exercise, interpretation, and elaboration of meanings about who are and what they do in the educational context.

Parte de dos categorías temáticas centrales e interconectadas de discusión: i) el bebé como actor social, un concepto abordado a partir de narrativas visuales que revelan momentos de jugar con muñecas en situaciones de cuidado; y ii) la constitución de la enseñanza basada en el proceso de observación y análisis de la experiencia vivida. Los registros analizados son el resultado de la reflexión de la práctica pedagógica en una institución de educación infantil de Curitiba. Se entiende a los bebés como sujetos del lenguaje, socialmente activos en la constitución de significados sobre el otro, sobre sí mismos y sobre el mundo mediado por las relaciones, y la enseñanza, circundada por el encuentro, como ejercicio de observación, interpretación y elaboración de sentidos sobre quién son y lo que hacen en el contexto educativo.O artigo propõe uma dialogia entre a agência dos bebês e a captura pelo olhar fotográfico como indagação narrativa à constituição da docência na Educação Infantil. Parte de duas categorias temáticas centrais – e interligadas - de discussão: i) o bebê como ator social, conceito abordado desde narrativas visuais que revelam momentos de brincadeira com bonecas em situações de cuidado; e ii) a constituição da docência a partir do processo de observação e análise do vivido. Os registros analisados decorrem da reflexão da prática pedagógica em uma instituição de Educação Infantil em Curitiba.
