TEACHER TRAINING OF THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND THE EDUCATION OF ETHNIC-RACIAL RELATIONS: an experience in Curitiba county

Resumo: | This work investigated the continuing education of teachers of Early Childhood Education (EI) and the education of ethnic-racial relations (ERER) at the Municipal Education Secretary of Curitiba (SME). In 2015, an analysis was performed to investigate the perceptions and developments of the continuing education courses in ERER, in the SME in the practice of pre-school teachers. Thereunto, we conducted semi-structured interviews with two SME techniques; we sent a questionnaire for two teachers to take the impressions of two important continuing education activities in the SME, in an attempt to analyze the database of continuing training, but it was impossible to analyze because the data of 2015 were not computed. Although the results of the research were positive, it is important to emphasize that the ERER in the continuing education of IE teachers in the SME is punctual, because the analyzes indicate that the ERER has reached the IE, not through an established policy and committed to the positive education of ethnic-racial relations, but due to a personal and academic commitment of a research technique of ethnic-racial relations and childhood, who when arriving at the SME, took the subject with her. Negligence of the municipal government was verified in the fulfillment of the legislation that determine the obligation of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture. The results of the analyzes indicated that the ethnic-racial theme came to the continuous formation of IE teachers, not through a policy instituted and committed to the education of ethnic-racial relations, but in an isolated way. |

Se analizó el año 2015 para averiguar cuales percepciones y desdoblamientos de los cursos de formación continuada en torno a ERER en la SME en la práctica de las profesoras de Educación Infantil. Para ello, realizamos entrevistas semiestructuradas con dos técnicas de la SME; fue enviado un cuestionario para dos profesoras para tener las impresiones de dos importantes actividades de formación continuada en la SME en un intento de analizar el banco de datos de formaciones continuadas, pero fue imposible analizar, pues los datos de 2015 no estaban computados. Aunque los resultados de la investigación han sido positivos, es importante resaltar que la ERER en la formación continuada de profesores de la EI en la SME es puntual, pues los análisis indican que la ERER llegó a la EI, no por medio de una política instituida y comprometida con la educación positiva de las relaciones étnico-raciales, pero debido a un compromiso personal y académico de una técnica investigadora de relaciones étnico-raciales e infancia que al llegar a la SME llevó el tema consigo. Se constató la negligencia del gobierno municipal en el cumplimiento de la legislación que determina la obligatoriedad de la Historia y Cultura afro-brasileña y africana. Los resultados de los análisis indicaron que la temática étnico-racial llegó en la formación continuada de profesores de la EI, no por medio de una política instituida y comprometida con la educación de las relaciones étnico-raciales, sino de manera aislada.Este trabalho investigou a formação continuada de professores da Educação Infantil (EI) e a educação de relações étnico-raciais (ERER) na Secretaria Municipal Educação de Curitiba (SME). Analisou o ano de 2015 para averiguar quais as percepções e os desdobramentos dos cursos de formação continuada em torno da ERER na SME na prática das professoras de Educação Infantil. Para tanto foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com duas técnicas da SME; foi enviado questionário para duas professoras para ter as impressões de duas importantes atividades de formação continuada na SME, em uma tentativa de analisar o banco de dados de formações continuadas, mas foi impossível analisar, pois os dados de 2015 não estavam computados. Ainda que os resultados da pesquisa tenham sido positivos, é importante ressaltar que a ERER, na formação continuada de professores da EI na SME é pontual, pois as análises indicam que a ERER chegou à EI, não por meio de uma política instituída e comprometida com a educação positiva das relações étnico-raciais, mas devido a um comprometimento pessoal e acadêmico de uma técnica pesquisadora de relações étnico-raciais e infância que, ao chegar à SME, levou o tema consigo. Foi constatada negligência do governo municipal no cumprimento da legislação que determina a obrigatoriedade da História e Cultura afro-brasileira e africana.
