Resumo: This article aimed to understand and apply four categories of Adorno in the ethic teaching in high school, from the texts exposed in the book Education and Emancipation (2006). We initially identified that ethical formation is now recognized by current Law nº 9.394 (BRAZIL, 1996) as one of the aims of high school; we defend that the ethic teaching can contribute to this activity; we analyzed the categories: conscience, elaborating the past, overcoming barbarize and emancipating based on Adorno's thought; and we propose, subsequently, a respective reflection on the possibility of applying these categories in the ethic teaching in high school, considering a possible context experienced by the student.

Inicialmente identificamos que la formación ética ahora es reconocida por la actual Ley nº 9.394 (BRASIL, 1996) como uno de los objetivos de la escuela secundaria; defendemos que la enseñanza de la ética puede contribuir a esta actividad; analizamos las categorías: conciencia, elaboración del pasado, superación de la barbarie y emancipación a partir del pensamiento de Adorno; y proponemos, posteriormente, una respectiva reflexión sobre la posibilidad de aplicar estas categorías en la enseñanza de la ética en la escuela secundaria, considerando un posible contexto vivido por el estudiante.Este artigo teve como objetivo compreender e aplicar quatro categorias de Adorno no ensino de ética no ensino médio, a partir dos textos expostos no livro Educação e Emancipação (2006).
