CHILDHOOD MEMORIES AND READING EXPERIENCES: A DIALOGUE WITH PROUST

Resumo: This article aims to discuss the topic of Reading set on the essay Sobre a Leitura, by Marcel Proust (Parisian writer who was born in 1871 and died in 1922). The goal of this work is approach the Proust’s literary universe by reading experiences built in the author’s childhood to see through new viewpoints, perspectives for formative means. The bibliographical study tries to dialogue with Proust (2001), Nietzsche (2003), and Larrosa (2002, 2004), bringing as argument the perception of reading. Although, it is a transversal educational activity which is running through different areas of knowledge in means like schools, academic and social life. Unfortunately, the reading has not been developing satisfactorily and encouraging from the student’s early age. It could cause serious implications for the learning process in their trajectory of education and aspects of everyday life. In conclusion, the idea of reading devolved in the work Sobre a Leitura can allow us to realize how Proust evaluates and encourages reading at an early age, bringing the importance of the act of reading through its subjective contact with the reader.

El objetivo consiste en mirar el universo literario de Proust por el medio de la lectura, desde sus memorias de infancia, para investigar experiencias de lectura que nos lleven a pensar, por un nuevo ángulo, los sentidos formativos de la lectura. El estudio bibliográfico dialoga con Proust (2001), Nietzsche (2003) e Larrosa (2002, 2004), planteando como argumento la percepción de que la lectura, aunque sea una actividad educativa transversal que atraviesa diferentes áreas del conocimiento en el medio escolar, académico y vida social, infelizmente no viene siendo desarrollada e incentivada satisfactoriamente desde corta edad del educando, ocasionando serias implicaciones para el proceso de aprendizaje en su trayectoria de escolarización y aspectos de la vida cotidiana. Se concluye que la idea de lectura presente en la obra Sobre a Leitura, de Marcel Proust, valora e incentiva el leer en la corta edad, trayendo la importancia del acto de leer por entre su contacto subjetivo con el lector. Este artigo visa a discutir o tema da Leitura configurado no ensaio Sobre a Leitura, de Marcel Proust (literato parisiense que nasceu em 1871 e morreu em 1922). O objetivo consiste em espreitar o universo literário proustiano pelo viés da leitura a partir de suas memórias de infância, a fim de perscrutar experiências de leitura que nos levem a pensar, por um novo ângulo, os sentidos formativos da leitura. O estudo, de caráter bibliográfico, dialoga com Proust (2001), Nietzsche (2003) e Larrosa (2002, 2004), levantando como argumento a percepção de que a leitura, embora constitua uma atividade educativa transversal que perpassa as diferentes áreas do conhecimento no meio escolar, acadêmico e vida social, infelizmente não vem sendo desenvolvida e incentivada satisfatoriamente desde tenra idade do educando, ocasionando sérias implicações para o processo de aprendizagem em sua trajetória de escolarização e aspectos da vida cotidiana.
