Resumo: A systematic review of literature is presented whose objective is to analyze the influence of screen use at early ages on child development. To this end, studies were collected from the Google Scholar, Dialnet, Redalyc and Scielo databases published in relevant indexed journals, in Spanish or English and during the period from 2018 to 2022. The results reflect that screen use at ages Early childhood can affect different aspects of the individual's development, especially in the area of ??language. It is observed, however, that accompanying families during the use of screens can provide benefits. In summary, the continued use of screens in the first years of life is not recommended, but with a good context and a choice of content the harmful effects can be counteracted, which makes evident the need for media literacy, which allows acquiring minors the necessary critical attitude.

Para ello, se recogieron estudios de las bases de datos Google Scholar, Dialnet, Redalyc y Scielo publicados en revistas indexadas de relevancia, en idioma español o inglés  y durante el periodo de 2018 a 2022. Los resultados reflejan que un uso de pantallas en edades    tempranas puede afectar a distintos aspectos del desarrollo del individuo, especialmente en el ámbito del lenguaje. Se observa, en cambio, que un acompañamiento de las famílias durante la utilización de pantallas puede aportar beneficios.
