Resumo: | This study aims to identify the incidence of sexual aggression in children and adolescents in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, PE in the period 2020 to 2021, through a geographic mapping. This is an ecological, descriptive and exploratory study of a quantitative nature, using spatial data analysis techniques to investigate the existence of an association between geographic location and the occurrence of sexual assaults against children and adolescents in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. Recife PE. Data were collected in reports, from expert examinations carried out at the Instituto de Medicina Legal Antônio Persivo Cunha. Recife stands out with the highest relative frequency, both in 2020 and in 2021, with values of 37.64% and 32.03%, respectively, followed by Jaboatão dos Guararapes and Paulista, accounting for these three municipalities together approximately 66%. of notifications of sexual assaults on children and adolescents in the Metropolitan Region of Recife in 2020 and 64.3% in 2021. It was observed that 87% of victims were female, in 30% the aggressor was a known person, in 77% of cases the complaints were made by the minor or the mother, in 41% the prevalent age group - 11 to 15 years, the type of injury with 77% of the cases was the presence of libidinous acts and carnal conjunction. The high frequency of sexual violence against children and adolescents evidenced helps in the visibility of this serious public health problem and corroborates the need for a more focused look at preventive public policies. |

Se trata de un estudio ecológico, descriptivo y exploratorio de carácter cuantitativo, utilizando técnicas de análisis de datos espaciales para investigar la existencia de una asociación entre la ubicación geográfica y la ocurrencia de agresiones sexuales contra niños y adolescentes en la región metropolitana de Río de Janeiro. . Los datos fueron recolectados en informes, a partir de peritajes realizados en el Instituto de Medicina Legal Antônio Persivo Cunha. Recife se destaca con la mayor frecuencia relativa, en 2020 y 2021, con valores de 37,64% y 32,03%, respectivamente, seguido de Jaboatão dos Guararapes y Paulista, que representan para estos tres municipios, aproximadamente el 66% de las notificaciones de agresiones sexuales en 2020 y 64,3% en 2021. Se observó que el 87% de las víctimas eran del sexo femenino, en el 30% se conocía al agresor, en el 77% de los casos las denuncias las hacía el menor o la madre, en el 41% la edad prevalente grupo - 11 a 15 años. La alta frecuencia de violencia sexual contra niños y adolescentes evidenciada ayuda en la visibilización de este grave problema de salud pública y corrobora la necesidad de una mirada más enfocada a las políticas públicas preventivas.Este estudo tem o objetivo identificar a incidência de agressões sexuais em crianças e adolescentes na região Metropolitana do Recife, PE no período 2020 a 2021, através de um mapeamento geográfico. Trata-se de um estudo ecológico, do tipo descritivo e exploratório de natureza quantitativa, utilizou-se técnicas de análise espacial de dados para investigar a existência de associação entre a localização geográfica e a ocorrência de agressões sexuais contra crianças e adolescentes na região metropolitana do Recife, PE. Os dados foram coletados em laudos, de exames periciais realizados no instituto de Medicina Legal Antônio Persivo Cunha. Destaca-se o Recife com a maior frequência relativa, tanto em 2020 como em 2021, com os valores de 37,64% e 32,03%, respectivamente, seguido de Jaboatão dos Guararapes e Paulista, contabilizando esses três municipios juntos aproximadamente 66% das notificações de agressões sexuais a crianças e adolescentes na Região Metropolitana do Recife em 2020 e 64,3% em 2021. Foi observado que 87% das vitimas eram do sexo feminino, em 30% o agressor era uma pessoa conhecida da vítima, em 77% dos casos as denuncias foram realizadas pelo menor ou pela genitora, em 41% a faixa etária prevalente foi de 11 a15 anos, o tipo de lesão com 77% dos casos foi a presença dos atos libidinosos e conjunção carnal.
