Resumo: | This paper aims to analyze the film as a mediator of representations about the cultural identities of elderly women. Based on theoretical contributions from authors such as Anil Motta, Ana Amelia Camarano, Anthony Seeger, Edgar Morin, Guita Debert, Lucia Santaella, Simone de Beauvoir and others, it will be conducted a study centered on two protagonists of Brazilian films: Central do Brasil and Depois daquele baile. The discussion is about issues related to the representations of the Brazilian cultural identities of Dora and Doris, noting how they are emotionally and socially related, since they are women who innovate, participate and monitor the progress of society. The observation of films is feasible because the movie is a reconstruction of the reality and it transforms individuals into witness of the actions which are represented. |

De las aportaciones teóricas de autores como Anil Motta, Ana Amelia Camarano, Anthony Seeger, Edgar Morin, Debert Guita, Lucía Santaella, Simone de Beauvoir y otros, se llevará a cabo el estudio que se centró en torno a los dos protagonistas de películas de cine de Brasil: Central do Brasil y Depois daquele baile. La discusión gira en torno a cuestiones de representación de las identidades culturales brasileña Dora y Doris, tomando nota de cómo se relacionan emocionalmente y socialmente, porque son las mujeres que innovan, participan y supervisan el progreso de la sociedad. Observar las obras fílmicas es factible porque la película es una reconstrucción de la realidad y la película hace que las personas sean testigos de la acción representada.O proposto deste texto é uma observação do cinema como mediador de representações em torno das identidades culturais de mulheres idosas. A partir de aportes teóricos de autores como Alda Motta, Ana Amélia Camarano, Anthony Seeger, Edgar Morin, Guita Debert, Lucia Santaella, Simone de Beauvoir entre outros, será realizado um estudo tendo como centro as protagonistas de dois filmes da cinematografia brasileira: Central do Brasil e Depois daquele baile. A discussão se dá em torno de questões de representações das identidades culturais brasileiras de Dora e Doris, atentando para como elas se relacionam afetivamente e socialmente por serem mulheres que inovam, participam e acompanham os avanços da sociedade.
