Adriana Cintra de Carvalho PintoDissertação (Mestrado) - Universidade de Taubaté, Programa de Pós-graduação em Linguística Aplicada, Taubaté, 2016.Resumo: Focaliza-se, neste trabalho, o papel da anáfora direta no gênero textual conto fantástico com o auxílio do Google Tradutor como ferramenta para o desenvolvimento das capacidades linguístico-discursivas de alunos do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública, na disciplina de Língua Inglesa. O problema que motivou a pesquisa foi a utilização do Google Tradutor, pelos alunos, durante a leitura e, principalmente, na produção textual na referida disciplina, pois apresentava diversas inadequações linguísticas. A professora-pesquisadora adotou várias medidas antes de concluir que ensiná-los a utilizar o recurso de forma consciente seria o mais apropriado. Surgiu, então, a iniciativa de investigar as inadequações linguísticas que o tradutor mais apresenta ao traduzir um conto fantástico. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é contribuir para o trabalho do professor de Língua Inglesa no desenvolvimento das capacidades linguístico-discursivas de alunos do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Os objetivos específicos foram: identificar as inadequações linguísticas que mais ocorrem no processo de escrita do gênero conto fantástico com a utilização do Google Tradutor e, a partir da inadequação com maior destaque, elaborar atividades linguístico-discursivas com os elementos responsáveis por essa inadequação, ou seja, a que envolve o processo de referenciação anafórica: a anáfora direta. Esta pesquisa baseou-se nas diretrizes do ensino de Língua Inglesa para o Ensino Fundamental, nas perspectivas de ensino e aprendizagem de língua baseado no estudo dos gêneros textuais, nas concepções de Bronckart (1999) sobre texto e sua arquitetura e os mecanismos de coesão, nos conceitos de Referenciação de Koch e Elias (2015; 2017) e nas sugestões de Dolz, Noverraz e Schneuwly (2010) sobre Sequência Didática. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com sugestão de atividades com anáforas diretas. Verificou-se que é possível identificar as inadequações do Google Tradutor e criar possibilidades de trabalho dentro de uma proposta contextualizada. Conclui-se que o recurso do Google pode ser utilizado pelos alunos de forma mais consciente, após a intervenção do professor, por meio de atividades como as disponibilizadas no terceiro capítulo deste trabalho.Abstract: The focus of this thesis is the role of the direct anaphora in the fantastic tale genre, having the Google Translate as a tool for the development of linguistic discourse skills of the 8th grade students from public Elementary School in the English Language classes. The problem that motivated this study was the use of the Google Translate by the students while reading and mainly writing in the referred classes, and as a consequence, their productions usually presented several linguistic inadequacies. The researcher of this thesis used several strategies before getting to the conclusion that teaching the students how to use the resource consciously would be the most appropriated way. Thereby, an initiative was emerged to investigate the most frequent linguistic inadequacies presented by the translator when it translated a fantastic tale. The general objective of this study is to contribute to the work of an English Language teacher in the development of the linguistic discourse skills of the 8th grade students from Elementary School. The specific objectives were: to identify the linguistic inadequacies that occurred the most during the written production process of the fantastic tale genre using the Google Translate, and, after highlighting the most frequent inadequacy, elaborate linguistic discourse activities with the elements that are responsible for this inadequacy, in other words, the ones that involve the anaphoric reference process: the direct anaphora. This study was based on the guidelines of English language teaching for the Elementary Schools, the perspectives of teaching and learning a language based on genres; the text concepts and its architecture and mechanisms of cohesion by Bronckart (1999); the Referential process concept by Koch and Elias (2015; 2017); in the suggestions of Doz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2010) on the development of a Didactic Sequence. This study is a bibliographical research, with some suggested direct anaphora activities. It was verified that it is possible to identify the inadequacies of the Google Translate and create possibilities to work within a contextualized proposal. Concluding, the Google's resource can be used by the students in a more consciously way after the teachers intervation through activities as the ones to be found in the third chapter of this thesis.Made available in DSpace on 2022-03-28T21:10:57Z (GMT).
