De acordo com a Norma ISO 13407, de 1999 e 9241 - 210, de 2011, para que um AVA seja eficiente é essencial que apresente duas características: Usabilidade e Interatividade. Por esse motivo, foi feita uma análise a fim de identificar se tais características estão presentes no AVA em estudo. Os dados foram analisados à luz das concepções de Interatividade, difundidas por Silva (2004), Batista (2008), Abreu (2010), Primo (2003), Beauchamp e Kennewell (2010) e de Usabilidade, conceituadas por Loranger (2007), Nielsen (2000) e Dias (2003). Os procedimentos metodológicos seguiram a seguinte dinâmica: a pesquisadora vivenciou a experiência de aluna, utilizando, de forma crítica, todas as ferramentas oferecidas pela plataforma. Tal interação foi realizada no período de quatro meses, proporcionados por responsáveis pelo AVA, que viabilizaram o acesso de forma gratuita para que a pesquisa fosse realizada. Foi feita uma coleta de dados, e, posteriormente, uma análise observando os critérios relativos à Interatividade e Usabilidade. A partir dos resultados obtidos, detectou-se que o Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem da Língua Inglesa Hyper English é, de fato, interativo e de fácil acesso e execução (usável), comprovando-se, portanto, que realmente trata-se de um AVA eficiente ao ensino da Língua Inglesa na modalidade online.Abstract: The current dissertation entitled as Hyper English: Study of a Virtual Learning Environment has as a goal, to check if this platform is efficient to the Online English Language Teaching, and check if it is Usefull and Interactive, as its marketing of presentation affirms ("Online and efficient English"; "Interactive Classes"). Therefore, it will be done an analyses aiming to identify if the following features, defined to ISO 13407, from 1999 and ISO 9241 - 210, from 2011, as essential for a VLE be efficient, are in the VLE in study: Interactivity and Usability. The data was analyzed under the conceptions of Interactivity of Silva (2004), Batista (2008), Abreu (2010), Primo (2003), Beauchamp e Kennewell (2010); the conceptions and Usability, done by Loranger (2007), Nielsen (2000) and Dias (2003). The methodological procedures followed the ensuing dynamic: the researcher lived the experience of a student, using, in a critical manner, all the tools offered by the VLE. It was realized during the period of four months, offered by the responsible for the platform, that made free the access, enabling the achievement of this research. It was done a data collect and, posteriorly, an analyses checking the criteria related to Interactivity and Usability. From the results, it was detected that the VLE in study, really presents the characteristics pointed in this text; that is, the platform is, in fact, easy to use and interactive, proving , therefore, that it really treats of a plataform efficient to the teaching of the English Language in the online manner.Made available in DSpace on 2024-03-15T21:20:58Z (GMT).
