Education of the field in times of pandemic in the municipality of Riacho de Santana

Resumo: The main objective of this article is to present the effects of the organization of teaching work and the discussions on the dynamics of rural education in times of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the municipality of Riacho de Santana, Bahia, reflecting on the role of policies in this process of changes in the new educational format. Data collection took place through a questionnaire using the WhatsApp application with five (05) teachers who work in rural schools in the municipality of Riacho de Santana. The discussions are the result of an empirical research, contemplating the use of bibliographic-documentary survey. The results show that the pandemic introduced new demands and intensified efforts by teachers in the face of the organization of educational dynamics, from adaptability to available technological tools, to the transposition of face-to-face methodologies to the virtual environment, as well as causing the expansion of the load working hours, lack of motivation and conflicts with the students' families. Thus, it is remarkable that, in addition to expanding the existing dilemmas, the pandemic also projected the challenge of the (re)invention of teaching practice in a context of crisis in public education, with disarticulation between educational public policies and the new context, especially in the modality of education in the countryside.

La recolección de datos se realizó a través de un cuestionario mediante la aplicación WhatsApp con cinco (05) docentes que laboran en escuelas rurales del municipio de Riacho de Santana. Las discusiones son el resultado de una investigación empírica, contemplando el uso del relevamiento bibliográfico-documental. Los resultados muestran que la pandemia introdujo nuevas demandas e intensificó los esfuerzos de los docentes, ante la organización de las dinámicas educativas, desde la adaptabilidad a las herramientas tecnológicas disponibles, hasta la transposición de metodologías presenciales al entorno virtual, así como provocando la ampliación de la jornada laboral, desmotivación y conflictos con las familias de los estudiantes. Así, es destacable que, además de ampliar los dilemas existentes, la pandemia también proyectó el desafío de la (re) invención de la práctica docente en un contexto de crisis en la educación pública, con desarticulación entre las políticas públicas educativas y el nuevo contexto, especialmente en la modalidad de educación en el campo.Este artigo tem como objetivo principal apresentar os efeitos da organização do trabalho docente e as discussões sobre a dinâmica da educação do campo em tempos de pandemia da Covid-19, no município de Riacho de Santana, Bahia, refletindo acerca do papel das políticas públicas neste processo de mudanças no novo formato educacional. A coleta de dados ocorreu através de um questionário pelo aplicativo WhatsApp com cinco (05) docentes que atuam nas escolas do campo do município de Riacho de Santana. As discussões são fruto de uma pesquisa empírica, contemplando o uso de levantamento bibliográfico-documental. Os resultados apontam que a pandemia introduziu novas demandas e intensificou esforços, aos docentes, diante da organização da dinâmica educativa, desde a adaptabilidade às ferramentas tecnológicas disponíveis, até a transposição de metodologias presenciais para o ambiente virtual, bem como, ocasionou a expansão da carga horária de trabalho, desmotivação e conflitos com as famílias dos estudantes.
