Resumo: This work studies the teaching of 2D Animation in Brazil, taking the research Narrativa e Visualidade em Animação 2D (AIUB, 2017), in which was verified that animation is, in fact, an art, as starting point, and highlighting a comparative study between the techniques and processes used to make 2D animation in the USA and in Japan. This research focuses on the teaching of this art, observing, initially, the methods used by north Americans and Japanese people, and mostly, analyzing the curriculum of the Bachelor in Animation programs that exist in Brazil. Starting from that analysis results a curriculum proposal for a Bachelor in Animation course focused in preparing capable professionals to enter the animation market upon graduation. The selling points of this curriculum are the development of practical abilities and theoretical knowledge that have significance to someone working in that area.

A presente pesquisa se debruça sobre o ensino desta arte, observando, inicialmente, os métodos utilizados pelos estadunidenses e japoneses e, principalmente, analisando os currículos dos cursos de Bacharelado em Cinema e Animação do Brasil.
