Resumo: This dissertation was composed of two empirical articles, the data collection of both, carried out with students of the third year of high school in a public school and two private schools. The instruments were the Sociodemographic Data Sheet, Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI), Brazilian Burnout Scale - version adjectives (EBB-Adj.), Self-efficacy Scale for Professional Choice (EAE-EP), Perception Scale for Social Support - Adolescents (EPSUS-Ad) and Family Support Perception Inventory (IPSF). The first article aimed to identify anxiety and burnout and their relationship with sociodemographic characteristics and with other constructs in 136 students of the third year of high school who intended to take the entrance exam. Descriptive comparisons, pearson correlations and linear regression were performed. The results showed positive correlations between anxiety and burnout and negative correlations between factors of social and family support with anxiety and also between all factors of social and family support with burnout. The factors that best explained the BAI levels were: EBB-Adj exhaustion factor, EPSUS-Ad. Affectivity factor, Being female and having a lower family income. Regarding EBB-ADJ, it was better explained by BAI, due to lower non-affectivity rates of EPSUS-Ad. and higher family income. It was possible to understand some relationships in the studied sample, considering that future studies use a larger and random sample for a more comprehensive understanding of the theme. The second article aimed to investigate how relationships exist between science instruments and the Self-efficacy Scale for professional choice (EAE-EP). 193 students were made available, from public and private schools and, through descriptive comparisons, pearson correlations and linear regression. The results average rating of participants for EAE-EP in all factors, with the private school obtaining average of the largest participants in three of them. There was a positive correlation between a factor of EAE-EP and IPSF and a negative correlation between factors of EAE-EP and the exhaustion factor of EBB-Adj. The linear regression model pointed to a set, formed by three elements, that better explained the increase in self-efficacy for the professional choice of the sample, being, less symptoms of emotional exhaustion, studying in private school and having work experience. Studies in this area in order to investigate variables that can influence the health of young people who are in this transition phase are important for analyzing the situation and for reflecting on educational practices.

Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)Cardoso, Hugo Ferrari [UNESP]Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)Campos, Luciana Soares Alves de2021-05-18T16:06:13Z2021-05-18T16:06:13Z2021-04-06info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/11449/20469133004056085P0porinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da UNESPinstname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESP2023-12-09T06:22:11Zoai:repositorio.unesp.br:11449/204691Repositório InstitucionalPUBhttp://repositorio.unesp.br/oai/requestopendoar:29462024-08-05T19:52:04.099039Repositório Institucional da UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false
