Resumo: The Didactic Material Production Course for Diversity (PMDD) for continuing education of basic education teachers, with a workload of 180 hours was offered as a distance learning in partnership between CECEMCA/UNESP Bauru and the system of the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB), the course owned 40 hours classroom and aimed to train teachers and professionals of basic education to evaluate existing teaching materials, conduct of teaching resources production projects and elaborate methodological strategies for the use of different materials for the themes of diversity, particularly in account of local and regional characteristics, and characteristics of the students and the themes: citizenship, human rights, gender and ethnic-racial relations. The course provided an opportunity for course participants obtain knowledge of criteria and procedures for evaluating teaching materials, enabled the development of educational materials production projects that would meet the characteristics of students in the various local and regional realities, and make possible the intervention in pedagogical practices developed in classroom. The course guidelines proposed a modular organization of content to strengthen the knowledge of teachers and other education professionals on issues related to diversity issues in their relationship with teaching materials. It was intended to also take into account the discussions on thematic diversity, teaching materials concepts, issues related to the analysis and evaluation of teaching resources, educational materials production projects and assessment of reception or student participation on the resources or materials production process. In general, the course participants felt that tutors have played an important role in the course, always being committed, efficient and welcoming, helping readily in situations of doubt and guiding the work done. The course participants learned how to handle the Virtual Learning Environment successfully. The material available in Moodle was considered very clear and objective, direct language and easily accessible and understandable. Some course participants said that in the final seminar contact with colleagues enabled learning to bring contributions to the formation and teaching practice.

Some course participants said that in the final seminar contact with colleagues enabled learning to bring contributions to the formation and teaching practice.O Curso de Produção de Material Didático para Diversidade (PMDD) para formação continuada de professores de educação básica, com carga horária de 180h foi ofertado na modalidade a distância em parceria entre o CECEMCA/UNESP Bauru e o sistema da Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB), o curso possuiu 40h presenciais e visou formar professores e profissionais da educação básica para avaliar materiais didáticos existentes, realizar projetos de produção de recursos didáticos e elaborar estratégias metodológicas para o uso de diferentes materiais didáticos para os temas da diversidade, em particular tendo em conta as características locais e regionais, e as especificidades dos educandos e os temas: cidadania, direitos humanos, gênero e relações étnico-raciais. O curso oportunizou aos cursistas obter conhecimento de critérios e procedimentos para a avaliação de materiais didáticos, permitiu o desenvolvimento de projetos de produção de materiais didáticos que atendesse as características dos educandos nas diversas realidades locais e regionais, e possibilitasse a intervenção nas práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas em sala de aula. As diretrizes do curso propuseram uma organização modular dos conteúdos para fortalecer o conhecimento dos professores e outros profissionais de educação sobre as questões relativas aos temas da diversidade em sua relação com os materiais didáticos. Pretendeu-se, também, levar em conta as discussões relativas às temáticas da diversidade, concepções de materiais didáticos, questões relativas à análise e avaliação de recursos didáticos, projetos de produção de materiais didáticos e avaliação da recepção ou participação dos alunos diante dos recursos ou do processo de produção de materiais. De forma geral os professores cursistas consideraram que as tutoras desempenharam um papel importante no curso, sendo sempre compromissadas, eficientes e acolhedoras, auxiliando prontamente nas situações de dúvida e orientando o trabalho realizado. Os professores cursistas aprenderam a manusear o Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem com êxito. O material disponibilizado no Moodle foi considerado muito claro e objetivo, com linguagem direta e de fácil acesso e compreensão.
