Resumo: In this work, thermoplastic polymers with the addition of tackifying additives were developed and characterized. The polymer used was vinyl poly (chloride), popularly known as PVC, with additions of pigments (egg color), masterbatch and bleach. The choice of this material is due to its great variability of applications and high commercial use. The additives used are widely used because of their coloring power. Four types of samples were formulated: natural PVC, without additives, PVC with masterbatch, PVC with pigment and PVC with bleach. The obtained material was extruded in plates of equal size. The obtained PVC plates were characterized by thermal analysis, through thermogravimetry (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), as well as mechanical characterization by means of a tensile test and termination of the micrograph of the specimens. After analyzing the results, it was verified that inserts of dye additives promote a change in mechanical properties such as tensile strength and modulus of elasticity. In relation to the tensile strength, it was possible to analyse an increase with the addition of the masterbatch additive, so that it influences statistically in the properties of the material, in reference to the decrease of the tensile strength, is based on the use of the additive pigment. Regarding the modulus of elasticity, the additive showed a drop in values in some types compared to natural PVC. Bleaching and masterbatch additives promote a drop in modulus os elasticity, thus providing a less rigid material, and the additive pigment is statistically equal to natural PVC, not affecting this property. In relation to the thermal... (Complete abstract click electronic access below)
