This work is the result od action research carried out by the group PIBID-Sociology of Marilia. The research is in progress and has its goal the development of didatic-pedagogical practices to the teaching of Sociology with High School students, as well didactic material support, based on historical and cultural theory, with special emphasis in Leontiev (theory of activity) and Galperin (theory of stage-by-stage formation of mental actions). The development of this research is necessary, among many other things, due to the non-consolidation of the discipline in the Brazilian curriculum design, which led to a shortagr of accumulation of materials in this area of knowledge. In this way, the text we present is supported by these authors, having as basis for formation of concepts from the objective actions of human beings - in this case the students. Besides, it assumes that the education and the teaching/learning process can only fulfill the role of human development propulsion, when this process happens as an intentional action of subjects, so that they appropriate and give a new meaning to the concept/knowledge historical-socially created, necessary to them.
