Resumo: | In the written material produced in Portugal during the fifteenth century, reorganize men of the court's habits and moral, and the range of other kingdom men, became one of the mainly aims claimed by the nobles, kings and princes versed in letters belonging to the newcomer dinasty in the power, the Avis dinasty. For this reordering, a record was considered, by writers and governors, a privileged instrument to persuade their contemporaneous to the care of the self, of the own body and spirit, and the well ruling of the kingdom could bring happiness, peace and prosperity. In the list of self-care shared practices, keeping the body healthy, strong and quick was gradually getting as one of the key elements of morality planned by these men of power and letters. The nobles of Avis attempted to physical and spiritual harmony, sustained by the healthy notion disseminated by the letters physicists from that time. The constantly contact with the general illness since the fourteenth century, as well as the doctors more regular presence in the court appeared to have awakened new senses to the body care, associated to the health keeping. Focusing on the balance and the corporal and spiritual unity of each one, such thinkers haven't avoided from thinking about social body and its potencial to become a kind of kingdom revived by the good deeds, accomplisher of the duty to save its members and, therefor turned to the salvation of all. The pedagogical plan outlined by these nobles from Avis, making reverberate the Christian masters writings, like João de Salisbury, sought considering all the kingdom parts in their particularities and virtuosity, beginning by the top of social body, the king. It is this commitment in constructing the order and the unity of physical body, from each one and social, the target of this study, which will unfold: on the analysis of cultivated knowledges by the fourteenth men of letters, in appreciation of the characters that... |

Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)França, Susani Silveira Lemos [UNESP]Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)Silva, Michelle Tatiane Souza e [UNESP]2015-08-20T17:09:29Z2015-08-20T17:09:29Z2014-08-21info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesis186 f.application/pdfSILVA, Michelle Tatiane Souza e.
