Resumo: The aim of this study was to develop a case study of road Aparecida, where it noticed a large movement of people with disabilities who use the road, bound for the city's churches. Another objective was to compare the minimum dimensions established by law, with the dimensions of the spaces (slope of ramps, wide sidewalks, etc.) on the road of Aparecida. Starting from this fact, a study was done on the architectural barriers faced by people with special needs and disabled. It was also made a field survey in order to know the opinion of the users about the accessibility of pregnant elderly and disabled in the road. Technical visits were also made in order to detect sites with access problems with special needs. Also were proposed guidelines for renovation of the building where the road works

Also were proposed guidelines for renovation of the building where the road worksO objetivo deste trabalho foi elaborar um estudo de caso da rodoviária de Aparecida-SP, onde se percebeu uma grande circulação de pessoas portadoras de necessidades especiais, que utilizam a rodoviária, com destino as igrejas da cidade. Outro objetivo foi comparar as dimensões mínimas estabelecidas por lei, com as dimensões dos espaços (inclinação de rampas, largura de calçadas, etc) existentes na rodoviária de Aparecida. Partindo-se desse fato, foi feito um estudo sobre as barreiras arquitetônicas enfrentadas pelos portadores de necessidades especiais e deficientes físicos. Também foi feita uma pesquisa de campo com o intuito de conhecer a opinião dos usuários sobre as condições de acessibilidade de gestantes idosos e deficientes físicos na rodoviária. Foram feitas também visitas técnicas a fim de se detectar os locais com problemas de acesso de portadores de necessidades especiais.
