It is the duty of the educational system to provide subsidies for the promotion of racial and cultural ethnic equality within educational institutions, valuing the plurality present in this context. In March of 2003, the Law on Guidelines and Basis (LDB) was amended with the approval of Federal Law No. 10.639 / 03, which made it mandatory to teach African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture in all public and private schools of Education Fundamental to the Middle. In spite of this legal support, what most studies and research exist within the theme of racial ethnic relations in the school environment indicates, is the noncompliance of the same at all levels of education. In this way, opposing the reality of much of the Brazilian educational scenario, this research has as its theme the investigation of how the antiracist teaching practice occurs in Basic Physical Education classes, supported by the LDB, specifically by Laws 9394/96, 10,639 / 03 and 11,645 / 08. The objective was to expose real experiences of current antiracist teaching practices, as well as raise the discussion about the effectiveness of these laws that guarantee the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture in Physical Education classes.
