Resumo: Studies show that in Brazil the majority of municipal solid waste is waste construction (WC). In the municipality of Itapeva (SP) the construction sector has been growing over the years, with large and small buildings, renovation and repairs, which generate large amounts of WC, which were destined for the famous garbage dump City now They have a management project. In this context, the objective of this work was to diagnose the generation and current management of WC Itapeva municipality to propose measures that result in increased recovery and recycling of this waste. For this, bibliographic surveys were conducted regarding the WC management and with companies accredited to the Municipality of Itapeva. an analysis of data provided by the city on those responsible for the transport of municipal waste was also carried out. We will carry out a comparative analysis between the creation of the WC in a few years and observe the efforts of the Itapeva City Hall to try to solve the problem of WC in your community and the need to create a WC recycling plant

No município de Itapeva (SP) o setor da construção civil vem crescendo ao longo dos anos, com construções de grande e pequeno porte, reforma e reparos, que geram grandes quantidades de RCC, que antes eram destinados ao famoso lixão municipal, agora possuem um projeto de gerenciamento. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho, foi diagnosticar a geração e a gestão atual dos RCC do município de Itapeva para propor medidas que resultem em maior aproveitamento e reciclagem destes resíduos. Para isso, foram realizados levantamentos bibliográficos referentes à gestão de RCC e junto às empresas credenciadas à Prefeitura Municipal de Itapeva. Também foi realizada uma análise dos dados fornecidos pela prefeitura sobre os responsáveis pelo transporte dos resíduos municipais.
