Resumo: The article aims to discuss, from the theory of Reinhart Koselleck, contributions that historical reason can offer to face the crisis of sense that contemporary society is passing through today, so as to assist human beings to build historical consciousness in order to meet their needs for temporal orientation and identity formation.
