Resumo: This paper aims to show the importance os the student programs organized by SAE Brazil taking as an example an engineering challenge organized by the TEC-Ilha Baja team, from Unesp Ilha Solteira. Through lectures, conferences and events like the one exemplified in this paper, it’s possible to introduce the world of the SAE competitions in a simple and natural way to the college’s newcomers, as well as contribute with the community and spread the SAE projects amogst the academic enviroment.
