Nowadays the term Ecology has received more and more new glances, portraying and encompassing subjects and studies that go far beyond those that are approached in the academic environment. And it is among these new approaches that spirituality arises. Studies and texts linking ecology and spirituality can be found being published by a very diverse group of people, ranging from scientists to religious. What everyone has in common is the search to understand this inner connection that man has with nature, and how this connection - or the lack of it - can affect our planet in the most diverse spheres (environmental, social, economic, political) and also ourselves. This study aims to search the relationship between spirituality and ecology, and how the combination of these two things can act in the development and education of more conscious people in relation to how they relate to their home - the Eco - being this a possible tool to combat the environmental crisis we are experiencing
