Significações das metodologias de ensino aprendizagem para professores e alunos do curso de graduação em enfermagem

Qualitative study which aimed at analyzing the meanings of teaching/learning methodologies among teachers and undergraduate nursing students/UNESP/Botucatu. The study used interviews and analysis of the technique of the Discourse of the Collective Subject, structured in the context of the Theory of Social Representations. Two main ideas were found related to perception of students and teachers. One was that knowledge is constructed from the student, experienced, significant and the social interactions constructed between actors, where the student is active and participative. The second was that learning comes from a vertical interaction, without interactivity, built with passive actors, valuing the content and not the senses. There was the concern and commitment of teachers in adapting an active teaching methodology that brought up the students interest in learning, so it becomes necessary to break with the traditional paradigm of education and adopt a modern, interactive and meaningful posture
