This study aims to perform a documentary analysis of the institutional site of Porto Digital based on Article 1 of Act 11,743 of January 20, 2000 of ALEPE, more specifically, of the Decree based on the aforementioned Law, Decree No. 23.046 of February 19, 2001. From the perspective of a future public relations professional, the concepts of Creative Economy, Communication in the Third Sector and innovation were worked to support the discussions about the Creative Industries, more precisely of the Digital Port of Recife. The justification of the present work is within the scope of the importance of the sector for regional and national economic development and the insertion of the country in a competitive way in the global scenario. The results obtained during the analysis were satisfactory to understand how the public policies were adequately worked on the website of Porto Digital in accordance with the aforementioned Laws.
