Resumo: Ploratory qualitative, bibliographical and documentary, seeks to understand how identity is formed in people who, historically, they have never been represented. At a time when the standards of beauty are being extolled and social media are responsible for this overvaluation, it is essential to carry out research on this theme, as that through the media the standards of beauty are structured and maybe propagated. Based on bibliographic analyzes and research carried out by the Institute Qualibest (first online research institute in Brazil) we can understand which are the main digital influencers that are in the feed of young people and which are its main features; the consequences of these in the formation of students' self-esteem and the repercussions they cause in the classroom, and in the teaching-learning process, which has been shown to be directly affected for the self-esteem of the students.

Em uma época em que os padrões de beleza estão sendo enaltecidos e as mídias sociais são responsáveis por essa supervalorização, torna-se fundamental uma pesquisa voltada para esse tema, já que por meio das mídias os padrões de beleza são estruturados e talvez propagados.
