Resumo: The avocado is a fruit with great economic interest in Brazil. That is growing more and more in recent years. The cultivar Hass has high economic value in the market, being a good target to export worldwide. The avocado trees have small and white flowers that do not give off many odors, so that their pollination is naturally lower compared to other fruits. Therefore, it is necessary to use new methodologies that promote a greater attractiveness of pollinators into the flowers of this plant. Bees are the main pollinators of avocados trees, so synthetic attractions based on the compounds produced by these insects are used in orchards in order to increase the pollination and consequently the productivity. The present work aimed to test the effectiveness of the commercial product Apis Bloom ® produced by the company ISCA™, a semiochemical attractive of bees of the genus Apis. The methodology adopted was exploratory using 20 trees in two different treatments (Apis Bloom and Control). The analysis of the effectiveness was performed using the number of fruits produced in each of the trees selected. We observed a discrepancy between the faces "morning" (East) and "afternoon" (West) and this was included in the exploitation of this work. The results indicated a positive effectiveness of the Apis Bloom ® when compared to the control treatment, where there was no intervention.
