Resumo: Facial Peripheral Paralysis (PFP) leads to ipsilateral facial weakness to injury of cranial nerve VII. The objective physical therapy rehabilitation preserving the reinnervation of the muscles affected through kinesiotherapy free and active assisted and guidelines exercise home. This study aimed to create a Primer on Facial Mimic exercise guidelines, with simple language and illustrations to aid in the treatment of patients with Peripheral Facial Paralysis, based on changes presented by the patients and frequently asked questions raised by them.

A reabilitação fisioterapêutica objetiva a preservação da reinervação da musculatura acometida por meio de cinesioterapia livre e ativa assistida e orientações de exercícios domiciliares.
