Experimental avaliation of the efficiency of collection of particulate for venturi scrubber

Resumo: The great majority of the industries uses, in some of its periods of training of process, material in the particulate form of. A great demand of products in the particulate form exists, with chemical, physical and biological properties specific. The emissions of these products for the environment are monitored by the governmental agencies, which establish legislators that normally require of the industries the equipment installation of cleanness of its effluent ones. The interest in the sampling of particulates is in the necessity practical esteem the properties of loaded particles for air, as the size, the concentration and the control of emissions of material particulate for the atmosphere for industrial processes. The particles that more cause damages to the health, and also of bigger difficulty to be collected in control equipment, are those of lesser size that 10 μm. This project is considered experimentally to study the efficiency of collection of fine particulates pollutants for a washer of gases of the type Venturi. An evaluation of the main parameters that affect the efficiency of this equipment will be carried through and its results will contribute for a bigger knowledge of this washer and a bigger practical application.
