Resumo: This study presented an analysis on psychological preparation within electronic sports, also called e-sports. From the observation of the significant increase of competitions, stress, athletes and professional teams, sponsorships, media, cultural and social recognition, mass broadcasts and large numbers of fans, matching some traditional sports, it was verified the need to deepen scientific knowledge, and practical psychological preparation of e-sports athletes to comprehend how they react psychologically to an intense routine of training for the championships. From that said, the objective of this study was to discover what the psychological training routine of esports professional athletes is, and the specific objectives were to detect if the psychological preparation is applied by psychologists, as well as to verify the types of approach performed by these professionals in the e-sports teams. For this, a qualitative research was carried out, through bibliographic and netnographic research and over academic scientific databases. The results pointed that electronic sports environment involves a lot of competitive edge and psychological pressure. A partir da observação do aumento significativo de competições, estresse, atletas e times profissionais, patrocínios, mídia, reconhecimento cultural e social, transmissões em massas e grandes quantidades de fãs, igualando alguns esportes tradicionais, verificou-se a necessidade do aprofundamento sobre o conhecimento científico, teórico e prático da preparação psicológica dos atletas de e-sports (cyber-atletas) para compreender como reagem psicologicamente à intensa rotina de treinos para os campeonatos. Diante disto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo geral descobrir qual a rotina de treinos psicológicos dos atletas profissionais de e-sports, já os objetivos específicos foram descobrir se a preparação psicológica é aplicada por psicólogos, bem como verificar quais são os tipos de trabalho realizados por esses profissionais dentro das equipes de e-sports. Para isto, foi realizado uma pesquisa qualitativa, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e netnográfica, por meio de bancos de dados científicos acadêmicos.
