This study presents the research and the discussion about digital communication and its influence on the process of course management for higher education, especially in the extension course Da Classe ao Mercado - program developed in partnership between Faac-Unesp and the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. The goal is to analyze the use and results of an interactive digital communication platform applied in the management of the Da Classe ao Mercado involving students, teachers, coordinators and administrative technicians from both universities - not only in the technological and informational sphere, but as a contribution to formative, social, sensorial and intercultural aspects, using a dialectical perspective of the active methodology, which considers the technique as something added to teaching and learning. The methodology used was the Design Based Research, in wich the researcher acts in the researched context, seeking to understand a certain reality, from interviews (in depth and in group) with users, using data to generate solutions to the real problems and needs presented. As a result it can be said that the telematic platforms can greatly contribute to the interactivity and management of pedagogical relationships and content, but they have their limitations. You must know how to use technology platforms with a specific purpose. They differ among themselves about question of functionality, being necessary to direct the use of each one, linking it to the appropriate function and the required goal. Also, we can say that one of the biggest challenges when we use telematics platforms as an pedagogical complement is to change the practice and the mentality of the teachers and to obtain the adhesion of these and the students, because is from this relation that the learning happens
