Resumo: This paper aims to analyze the relation between the subject and the language, the identity and the discourse, with the purpose of defending the sign language acquisition since childhood, in order to guarantee that the deaf person may insert her/himself in the Deaf Culture and in the Deaf Identity. For this, it was made a bibliographic research regarding the topics of: Social Identity; Language, Identity and Culture; Sign Language Acquisition; and Deaf Identity as the theoretical analyses and the analyze of four brazilian deaf people realities - being three of them related to deaf children of hearing parents and one of them deaf children of deaf parents - through videos posted on Youtube as the practical analyzes. After the theoretical and practical analyzes, it was possible to realize that there is the necessity of guaranteeing the deaf rights of getting access to the sign language since the initial phase of learning and to the contact with other deafs, consequently they will get access to the Deaf Identity, aiming to dissociate the concept of Deafness from the pathological perspective that it received for many years and still receiving today, to only be accepted as a difference that has to be respected and seen as it is - only a difference.

Para tal, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico no que tange os temas: Identidade Social; Linguagem, Identidade e Cultura; Aquisição da língua de sinais; e Identidade Surda, como análise teórica e levantamento e análise de quatro realidades de surdos brasileiros - sendo em três delas, surdos filhos de pais ouvintes e em uma delas, surdos de pais surdos - através de vídeos postados na plataforma do Youtube, como análise prática. Após as análises, foi possível constatar a necessidade de garantia dos direitos dos Surdos em relação ao acesso à língua de sinais desde a fase inicial de aquisição do contato com outros surdos para que assim, tenha acesso à sua Identidade Surda.
