Resumo: This research investigates the oral narratives: a millenary art. The study that took place in the school of Basic Education Arabutã in the Municipal District of Arabutã, Santa Catarina, Brazil, approaches the process, the factors, and the instances that interfered, determinated and also influenced the itineraries in relation to the theme as a way of socialize and interact while reading among students of different ages that are in the Fundamental Education and Secondary Education of the school. This research, that are based on studies linked with the Oral Narration, Education, History of Reading, and History of the Subject involved in the study tried to learn more about the narration of stories, in this work known as the telling of stories, helps the teachers in their pedagogical practice, questioning if this art can serve as a motivation for the pleasure of reading. Through the analyses and comparison of the statements in the questionnaires, and based on the presuppositions of the functional theory, it s looked for information with the test individuals about the experience with the oral narratives. Like this, it was possible to trace the profile of these individuals and to see their different ways of interacting with the oral. This exam also allowed the construction of a panorama capable of pointing the oral narratives in circulation, the ways of transmission, divulgation and socialization, the environment, the methods of changing histories, the practices adopted by the studied individuals and the diversity of competences in the studied school, the pedagogical practice of the teachers and the motivation for the pleasure of reading

O estudo, realizado na Escola de Educação Básica Arabutã, no Município de Arabutã, Santa Catarina, Brasil, aborda os processos, os fatores e as instâncias que interferiram, determinaram e influenciaram os itinerários em relação ao tema como um modo de socializar e interagir com a leitura entre os alunos de diferentes faixas etárias que se encontram no ensino fundamental e ensino médio da escola investigada. Com base em pesquisas vinculadas com a Narração Oral, Educação, História da Leitura e a história dos sujeitos envolvidos no estudo, buscou-se averiguar se a narração de histórias, neste trabalho entendida como a contação de histórias, auxilia os docentes, na escola em questão, em sua prática pedagógica, questionando se essa arte pode servir de motivação para a prática prazerosa da leitura. Por meio da análise e comparação de depoimentos obtidos nos questionários, e com base nos pressupostos da teoria funcional, buscou-se informações sobre a experiência com as narrativas de histórias orais por parte dos sujeitos pesquisados. Dessa forma, foi possível traçar o perfil desses sujeitos e constatar seus diferentes modos de interação com a oralidade. O exame permitiu também a edificação de um panorama capaz de apontar as narrativas orais em circulação, os modos de transmissão, a divulgação e a socialização, os ambientes, as táticas de troca das histórias, as práticas adotadas pelos indivíduos estudados e a diversidade de competências na escola em questão, a prática pedagógica dos docentes e a motivação para a prática prazerosa da leituraMade available in DSpace on 2018-01-10T18:09:23Z (GMT).
