THE LOVING RELATIONSHIPS IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF YOUNG ADULTS

Resumo: Abstract: The present study intended to investigate the perception of young adults about loving relationships in the current society. For this research, was made a semistructured interview with eight young people of both sexes, aged between 18 and 23 years, and the data were analyzed in terms of content. As a result, young people showed that the current relationships are based on individuality, freedom, disposability, search for romance, gender equality and superficiality. What they look for in a relationship: trust, respect, beauty, and someone with a good future career. Young people also believe that the fear of responsibility and constant investment in a relationship may difficult the relationship. Thus, the future of relations would be based on greater individualism among partners and couples living in separate houses. Through this survey, it was found that relationships today are based on freedom and individuality, occurring when there is the investment of both parts.Keywords: loving relationships; contemporaneity; young adults; love; gender.

Para la realización de esta investigación, fue hecha una entrevista semi-estructurada con ocho jóvenes de ambos sexos, com edades entre 18 y 23 años, siendo que los datos fueron sometidos para análisis de contenido. Como resultado, los jóvenes señalan que las relaciones actuales se basan em la individualidad, libertad, descartabilidad, búsqueda del romanticismo, igualdad de géneros y superficialidad. Ellos buscan en una relación: confianza, respecto, belleza y alguien con un buen futuro profesional. Los jóvenes también creen que el miedo de la responsabilidad y de la constante inversión en una relación podrá dificultar la relación. Así, el futuro de las relaciones sería basado en mayor individualismo entre parejas viviendo en casas separadas. Por medio de esta investigación, se constató que las relaciones de la actualidad son basadas en la libertad y en la individualidad, sucedendo cuando hay la inversión de ambas partes.Palabras clave: relaciones amorosas; contemporaneidad; aultos jóvenes; amor; género.Este estudo buscou conhecer a percepção dos jovens adultos sobre os relacionamentos amorosos na contemporaneidade. Para a realização desta pesquisa, foi feita uma entrevista semi-estruturada com oito jovens de ambos os sexos, com  idades entre 18 e 25 anos, sendo que os dados foram submetidos para  análise de conteúdo. Como resultado, os jovens apontam que os relacionamentos atuais baseiam-se na individualidade, liberdade, descartabilidade, busca do romantismo, igualdade de gêneros e superficialidade.  Eles procuram em uma relação: confiança, respeito, beleza e alguém com um bom futuro profissional. Os jovens também acreditam que  o medo da responsabilidade e do constante investimento em uma relação poderá dificultar o relacionamento. Assim, o futuro das relações seria baseado em maior  individualismo entre parceiros e casais morando em casas separadas.
