Creative Indicators in Brief Psychotherapy

Resumo: Observation of unexpected results in Brief Psychotherapy examined in clinical supervision has instigated us to examine some of the aspects involved in the accomplished counsellings from the point of view of the creating production. We have considered the existence of a creative atmosphere that permeates the affectionate relationship between pacient and therapist, which seems to be responsible for genuine and original products of the clinical situation. From Winnicott’s conceptions of creativity, we present some considerations on the creative power of the therapeutical entailment, as well as an initial elaboration on the use of Creative Indicators as prognoses of positive outcomes on Brief Psychotherapy.
