Resumo: The athlete of soccer live many stress situations to perform his function that can be interpreted as a menace to induce to anxiety responses. The interpretations generally can be in shown by irrational beliefs and the dysfunctional thoughts.  The excess of anxiety exists in many players who has rigid beliefs that modifies the perception of the sportive situations that they live (Barrera, 2000). The aim of this paper is assessment the anxiety in soccer teams, identify the beliefs in this players, verify if the dysfunctional thoughts are presents in this situations. Three amateur teams of soccer were studied with BDI (Beck Depression Inventory) and BAI (Beck Anxiety Inventory). 61% of the symptoms were of anxiety and 39% of depression. The core of this thoughts were mistaken, perfectionism and in the work structure. The approach Cognitive Behavioural offers to Psychology of Sport dynamism helping the athlete to modifier their dysfunctional automatic thoughts that induced anxiety to thoughts that satisfatories behaviours to them, to the team and to the cheers

A ansiedade exacerbada existe nos jogadores com crenças muito rígidas, as quais afetam substancialmente sua percepção das situações esportivas. O presente estudo tem o objetivo de avaliar a ansiedade no esporte em equipes de futebol e identificar as crenças e os pensamentos disfuncionais mais comuns apresentados por esses jogadores. Foram investigadas três equipes de futebol amador. Utilizaramse os instrumentos: Inventário de Depressão de Beck (BDI) e Inventário de Ansiedade de Beck (BAI). Verificaram-se 61% de sintomas de ansiedade e 39% de depressão. Os pensamentos automáticos disfuncionais relatados pelos atletas concentram-se nas concepções sobre o erro, perfeccionismo e na estrutura do trabalho.
