Resumo: Pseudoboemite is a hydrated aluminum oxyhydroxide obtained from inorganic precursors by the sol-gel process and is used as a precursor to alumina as a reinforcement in obtaining nanocomposites. In this work, pseudoboemite with the addition of sodium polyacrylate was used in order to promote an increase in the spacing of the particles of pseudoboemite, which agglomerate in the material. The material obtained was added to the concrete in order to improve its workability and strength. The new concrete obtained was characterized by means of rheological, mechanical and microstructural tests. The results showed that the addition of pseudoboemite with sodium polyacrylate significantly increased the compressive strength and improved the workability of the concrete. In order to evaluate these properties, tests were made on cone trunk abatement, compression resistance test, ultrasound and characterization of the nanomaterial. The compressive strength data showed a tendency to increase the compressive strength with the addition of pseudoboemite and sodium polyacrylate.

Neste trabalho foi utilizado pseudoboemita com adição de poliacrilato de sódio com a finalidade de promover um aumento no espaçamento das particulasde pseudoboemita, que tendem a se aglomerar no material. O material obtido foi adicionado ao concreto com o objetivo de melhorar a sua trabalhabilidade e a sua resistência. O novo concreto obtido foi caracterizado por meio de ensaio reológicos, mecânicos e microestruturais. Os resultados mostraram que a adição da pseudoboemita com o poliacrilato de sódio aumentou a significadamente a resistência a compressão e melhorou a trabalhabilidade do concreto. Para avaliação destas propriedades foram realizados ensaios de abatimento tronco cone, ensaio de resistência à compressão, ultrassom e caracterização do nanomaterial. Os dados de resistência a compressão mostraram uma tendência de aumento da resistência adicionado ao concreto a compressão com adição de pseudoboemita e poliacrilato de
